On Correction

These days, you can't even correct some people, because you're automatically regarded as green with envy.

I'm not talking about destructive criticism, no I mean the exact opposite. No matter how you try to sugarcoat, some people are what they are - extremely defensive.

These people always have ready-made excuses for why and how they do things. There's always someone or something to blame, except themselves.

They don't mind blaming you who has corrected them, so far as it draws always the blame from themselves.

When you correct these people, their red light blinks. You've entered the danger zone and you'll be eliminated ASAP.

You can agree with them 99% of the time and as soon as you disagree with the other 1%, boy oh boy, the heat is on!

It doesn't matter if you show it in the nicest way possible. As far as they're concerned, you've become an enemy of progress.

They occasionally stare at you defiantly, ignore you, distant themselves from you, and say bad things about you behind your back.

If you find yourself surrounded by people who almost never point you out your wrongdoings, I suggest you scrutinise yourself.

It is either you're perfect (which we both know is impossible),  or your all-knowing and no-correction attitude will one day lead you to destruction.

You think it's impossible, huh? Alright, let me break it down for you. On that day, your friends will see you try to burn yourself. On that day, they'll think you're not actually going to burn yourself. On that day, they'll think you're just carrying out an experiment.

Well, on that day, they'll watch you walk into the fire, afraid to tell you not to; or intentionally keep quiet and allow you burn yourself to ashes because they're tired of your incessant, irritating attitude.
