I am enthralled by
The growing
Greenness that
Surrounds my world.
I am enthused by
The soft notes sung
Every morning and
Evening by my friends
With wings and beaks
As they perch on trees
Above my head.
I am amused by
The slippery champions
With golds at
Swimming competitions
I am moved at
The sight of those
Thick mass of flesh
Terrorising the jungle
On four legs and
With the tusks that
Keep foes at bay.
I am lost in
Appreciation at the
Sight of me ordering
These awesome beings.
In awe I stand
Tall above all
In awe I stand
With outstretched arms
In awe I stand
the king in his domain!
